Lahore Development Authority Demolishes Illegal Structures in the City

LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) demolished several illegal structures in different areas of the city on Tuesday as part of an anti-encroachment operation.

The LDA Town Planning Zone-2 carried out the operation on Multan Road, Iqbal Town, and Sabzazar Scheme under the supervision of Director General Aamir Ahmed Khan.

According to the details, 4 illegal shops were demolished on Multan Road, and several plots in the Government Superior Service Employees Housing Scheme were sealed.

Furthermore, the officials of town planning demolished shops in the JEI factory area and sealed property dealers’ building in Sabzazar’s A-block.

The team also demolished an illegal restaurant building in Rachna Block, Iqbal Town, and sealed a plot in College Block, Iqbal Town, for illegal extensions.

The team included Chief Town Planner Shakeel Anjum Minhas and Town Planning Director Salman Mehfoz, supported by a police contingent.
