A large operation is being carried out by the LDA’s Town Planning Wing against the non-payment of commercial fees and the conduct of unlawful commercial operations in various localities.
The operation was carried out in accordance with the instructions of LDA DG Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa, who warned harsh measures will be taken against any unlicensed and illegally constructed structures and business centers.
The owners of the buildings received legal notifications ordering them to remedy the irregularities. Additionally, it was stated that the buildings would be subject to punishment if the LDA notifications were not followed.
The LDA will seal the unauthorized buildings if its directives were not followed. Shakeel Anjum Minhas, the chief town planner, oversaw the operation. The Enforcement Wing and a large police presence were also there during the operation.
