The Lahore Development Authority’s Town Planning wing has planned to reclassify more plots in Gulberg to commercial.
According to the details, the authority is also developing Central Business District to make Gulberg the city’s official downtown for corporate and commercial activities.
It is shared by the sources that LDA would be conducting surveys and researches in order to develop sustainable strategies to execute the plan efficiently.
The final decision for reclassification of the residential plots depends upon the results and findings of researches which are to be carried out.
It is important to note that the authority is working on making Gulberg’s main boulevard completely signal-free as part of the plan to provide signal-free access to the Central Business District.
