Anti-Corruption Court Acquits Former MPA in Illegal Plot Allotment Case

LAHORE: On Thursday, an anti-corruption court acquitted Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) former MPA, Saiful Malook Khokhar, in an illegal plot allotment case.

According to details, the former MPA has been acquitted in 3 cases of illegal plot allotment, record tampering, and, registry fee.

The judge of the anti-corruption court heard the case and announced the verdict in favor of the MPA.

The verdict stated that the accusations against the accused, Saiful Malook Khokhar, were not proven due to lack of evidence, acquitting the PML-N leader.

The former MPA, in his plea, told the court that the charges leveled against him were false and that the case was based on ‘political victimization.’

It is relevant to mention here that, in 2020, Khokhar brothers were charged with occupying state land and failing to pay property tax.
