ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) and the government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), agreed to launch a housing scheme for residents of Rawalakot.
According to the sources, a press release stated that an agreement was signed between FGEHA and the government of AJK to address the valley’s housing shortage.
The details indicate that FGEHA would provide technical and managerial assistance in the areas of planning, designing, engineering estimates, construction, and supervision.
During the agreement, the AJK government was represented by the Secretary of the Physical Planning and Housing Department, Ghulam Bashir Mughal, and the FGEHA was represented by Director Staff Amara Jabeen.
Besides, the Chief Engineer of the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority, the Project Director of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and other senior officials were also present at the agreement signing ceremony.
