The chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmood Khan, has directed the Board of Revenue to speed up the computerization of land records, paying particular attention to the records of the Peshawar Division.
The CM, while presiding over the Board of Revenue’s performance review meeting, directed the establishment of service delivery centers at the subdivisional level in each district to issue estate-related documents and other essential services.
Mahmood Khan was also briefed by revenue officials over the official launch of the province’s e-stamp paper initiative, which is a major step forward for the provincial government’s e-governance efforts.
Besides, the Board of Revenue has also informed the chief minister that it has reclaimed 8,350 Kanal of state land from the land-grabbing mafia, worth Rs. 118.344 billion.
