ISLAMABAD: The Central Development Working Party has approved 6 development projects worth 139 billion.
A meeting was held in this regard under the chairmanship of Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal.
According to the details, the development projects include the following:
- Emergency Flood Assistance Project (EFAP) in Balochistan
- Restoration and reconstruction of 318-404 km long N-5 from Moro to Ranipur
- Sindh Flood Emergency Reconstruction Project
- Restoration and Reconstruction of Irrigation and Drainage System
- Flood Protection Project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
- Improving Workforce in Punjab IWRPP Project
It is pertinent to mention that the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has also contributed by releasing $150 million for the restoration of damaged bridges and the N-5 Moro to Ranipur portion.
