GB: The government of Gilgit-Baltistan has decided to digitize the land records in 10 districts.
According to the details, a meeting was presided over by Chief Secretary GB Mohyuddin Ahmed Wani to discuss the region’s land reforms and land digitization.
During the meeting, it was decided that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) shall be signed between GB and Punjab governments and the Punjab Government will provide training to the concerned GB officials.
The GB government has also decided that the developed land reform act will also be presented in the seminars across the province.
It is important to mention that GB govt has also decided to develop an E-procurement system that would be operational by January 2023.
The purpose of this system is to ensure transparency and tender processes.
The Government of Gilgit is achieving milestones and is taking steps to evolve and enhance efficiency through digitization.
