RAWALPINDI: The National Logistics Cell (NLC) was given the project for renovating Potohar Avenue from Kutchery Chowk to T-Chowk Rawat by the National Highway Authority (NHA).
The details show that the contract for beautifying and revamping the road has been given to the contractor and the NLC will oversee the initiative to improve the state of the roads.
Furthermore, other civic agencies would cooperate with it in this respect, according to representatives of the district administration.
The sources said that Nespak would be given the job of remodeling water drains, installing louvers, and masking areas.
They added that the administration had asked the NLC to create an economical plan, which would be carried out by a professional firm, while maintenance would be distributed to various housing agencies situated on both sides of the avenue.
Besides, they also claimed that horticulture would fall under the purview of the NLC and it would collaborate with the management of the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) to expedite the project.
