PM Orders Strategy to Solarize Government Installations in Capital

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif instructed on Tuesday that a strategy for solarizing government buildings in Islamabad be developed at the earliest.

As per the details, the prime minister, who presided over the cabinet committee on energy meeting, was briefed on the country’s gas development plans.

The sources informed that the completion of the construction work for the gas development plans initiated between 2013 and 2018 was authorized by the cabinet committee.

Attending the conference were state ministers for petroleum, finance, and top government officials as well as federal ministries for finance, planning, energy, and legislative affairs. Advisor Ahad Cheema was also present.

Furthermore, Lt. General Inam Haider, the head of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), also briefed on the continuing efforts to rebuild flood-affected communities.

Additionally, PM Sharif also received a visit from Federal Minister for Housing and Works, Moulana Abdul Wasay, and talked about issues involving the housing ministry.
