FGEHA Sets Aside 75 Plots for Constitutional Bodies’ Personnel

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has set aside about 75 plots for the personnel of constitutional bodies in the federal capital’s Park Road Housing Scheme.

According to official sources in the authority, around 42 plots have been reserved in category-I of size 50×90 and 33 plots in category-II of size 40×80.

The sources claimed that the Park Road Housing Scheme had set aside a certain number of plots for registered members of constitutional bodies, by an agreed quota.

The allocation in the FGEHA Housing Scheme at Park Road, according to the sources, will be done by age-wise seniority during the Membership Drive-II.

In Sectors F-14 and F-15, they said, the first right of allocation was reserved, and the other registered members would be housed in the Park Road Housing Scheme according to the number of plots that were available under each quota.

The sources said that the quota had not yet been decided since there is litigation involving the F-14 and F-15.

Besides, they concluded that when the dispute is resolved and the layout design for F-14 and F-15 is finalized, the workers of constitutional bodies would be assigned homes in the Park Road housing scheme.
