CDA Turns Down FGEHA’s Request for Plots Allotment in Sector I-8

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has denied the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority’s (FGEHA) request to place eight plots in sector I-8 at its disposal for their allotment to senior government officers on the waiting list.

As per the details, in response to the housing authority’s letter, the civic agency’s estate division notified the authority on October 25 that it can not allocate any further plots in Sector I-8 as asked by FGEHA.

The letter also stated that 2,945 plots had been assigned to the FGEHA in I-8 between 1990 and 2006 and that this number had also been presented to the Supreme Court in 2011.

Similarly, it noted that the CDA had already given the housing authority 1,498 plots in G-11 and 1,572 plots in D-12 between 1990 and 2020.

The civic agency stated that it had handed sectors G-12 and F-12 to the FGEHA on the directive of the federal cabinet a few years ago, so no new plots could be placed at its disposal.

Comments

  1. FGEHA-top in inefficiency- failed to hand over single plot or flat to its members since 2009.
Minted billion of rupees from employees and had done nothing. Many of its members died but this senseless FGEHA is sleeping.
Such authorities should be closed as they can do nothing.
