ISLAMABAD: Despite the plea bargain with the owners of the Eden Housing Society, not a single penny has yet been distributed among the allottees/affected parties of Eden Housing Limited.
As per the details, Minister for Law and Justice, Azam Nazeer Tarar, stated in a written response to a question from Senator Saifullah Abro that, so far, 1 billion rupees (the down payment) out of a total plea bargain sum of 16 billion rupees have been recovered by the orders of the Lahore High Court.
The remaining amount of the plea bargain, Rs. 15 billion, would be paid in 11 equal quarterly installments by the terms of the agreement, which were authorized by the learned Accountability Court.
He said that Eden Housing Limited defrauded 11,880 members out of their hard-earned money totaling Rs. 13 billion.
Furthermore, he also added that following the conclusion of the NAB probe, a corruption case against the defendants, including Dr. Muhammad Amjad, Ms. Anjum Amjad, Murtaza Amjad, and Mustafa Amjad, was filed at the Accountability Court in Lahore.
Following the death of the accused Dr. Muhammad Amjad, the accused Mst. Anjum Amjad filed a plea bargain application on April 25, 2022, he added.
It is to note that Mst. Anjum Amjad promised to pay the whole Rs. 16 billion ($13 billion principal payment plus $3 billion in unlawful gain) within three years, as established by NAB.
The accused Mst. Anjum Amjad made a plea bargain offer, which the NAB Chairman accepted and the learned Accountability Court in Lahore approved it on June 6 of the same year.

We did online NAB case. But we haven’t found any updates yet. If you have plz update.
Very Right, if the affecties would have their properties bought in 2010, how much would they gain after 12 year of time. Now in such meager return of payment how they can buy a plot even a single Marla of land, while if they invest the same in some other property, gold or dollar the would get 4 times return on their investments. Pls don’t exploited the affecties more.
At least Nab should call the affecties to discuss to resolve the issue, but there is complete silence.

I think the matter may be resolved and the payment of installments to affected must start now, as per the Plea Bargain by NAB, as allotment of plots/houses is not possible after such a long period.
