LAHORE: The anti-corruption establishment (ACE) Punjab has issued Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah a call-up notice in relation to an investigation involving corruption in a private housing scheme.

Furthermore, Sanaullah and his wife were called into ACE Punjab on November 22 as summons were sent to the accused government officials and the proprietor of the private housing society located in Chakwal.

According to ACE officials, the details show that Sanaullah and his wife were accused of corruption for allegedly having two plots in the private housing society as bribes.

Besides, the Interior Minister had already received numerous notices from the anti-corruption establishment while non-bailable arrest warrants were also issued by a special court magistrate in Rawalpindi in October.

In that case, he was booked for paying less than the agreed-upon price for two farmhouses at the Bismillah Housing Scheme in Kallar, Chakwal.

However, the minister was able to get relief from a local court in his appeal against arrest warrants issued by ACE Punjab.
