ADC Nosheen Israr Vows to Continue Anti-Encroachment Drive in the Twin Cities

ISLAMABAD: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Nosheen Israr has affirmed that the ongoing anti-encroachment campaign in the city will not be compromised and will continue without any interruption.

During a meeting with a delegation of various trade organizations in her office, ADC Nosheen declared that certain areas in the city, including Committee Chowk, Iqbal Road, College Road, and China Market, will be made exemplary models, free from encroachments.

To ensure the smooth operation of the anti-encroachment drive, a committee comprising representatives from the traders, Municipal Corporation, Civil Defence, and Traffic Police officials will be formed.

ADC Nosheen also revealed that designated spaces for pushcarts have been allocated at the Grain Mandi and Jinnah Road, where traders can carry out their business activities after 7 pm.

Furthermore, the ADC highlighted that the anti-encroachment operation would take place between 12 pm and 6 pm.

She emphasized that the campaign aimed to provide a secure environment for traders and customers by enforcing the law and not taking away anyone’s livelihood.

Overall, the anti-encroachment campaign aims to create a safer and more organized environment for business activities in the city, and the authorities are committed to implementing the campaign with full force.
