The Railways department has recovered approximately 538 acres of land worth billions of rupees from illegal occupants across the country as part of its anti-encroachment operation.
According to a spokesman for the Ministry of Railways, the encroachment operation has begun with the assistance of railway police and district administrations.
He stated that the government was taking several steps to recover encroached land from land grabbers, including conducting a detailed survey to identify encroached land for recovery.
Furthermore, according to the PR officials, Pakistan Railways owns 167,690 acres of land across the country, with 90,326 acres in Punjab, 39,428 acres in Sindh, 28,228 acres in Baluchistan, and 9,708 acres in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
