Authorities Arrest 10 Encroachers on the KTH Road

PESHAWAR: The District Administration has arrested 10 people in a grand anti-encroachment operation on the Khyber Teaching Hospital Road.

As per the details, the shopkeepers blocked the footpaths while the general public parked their vehicles on the road resulting in traffic congestion.

The operation was launched under the supervision of the Assistant Commissioner of University Town, Syeda Zainab Naqvi, DSP Traffic police, Hazrat Ullah, and the Director of West demolition staff.

Several illegal structures were demolished, and 10 individuals that protested against the operation were arrested by the authorities.

Additionally, encroaching material was confiscated, and people who parked their vehicles in the no-parking zones were also fined.

Furthermore, the AC also warned the shopkeepers not to encroach on footpaths or face strict action.
