Authorities Start Construction Work on Soan River Bridge

RAWALPINDI: The construction work on the Soan River Bridge in Rawalpindi began earlier this week and is projected to be finished by the end of December 2023.

According to a National Highway Authority (NHA) official, the Soan River Bridge will be widened from two to four lanes on each side.

He added that construction work was halted in April of this year. However, Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) has been granted a fresh contract to expand the Soan River Bridge.
