Bahria Town Karachi Denies Claims of Heavy Rains Submerging the Society

KARACHI: Bahria Town on Wednesday denied rumors that the housing society was flooded by heavy rain. In the wee hours of Thursday, the housing authority uploaded a video of their entryway and claimed there was no water around.

Journalists and locals questioned the plans to evacuate the water after seeing many images of Bahria Town Karachi getting swamped by rains.

In a video that Faysal Chaudhry posted, the entrance to Bahria Town was entirely inundated while Asad Ali Toor tweeted a video of a car belonging to Bahria Town that was submerged in floodwater.

In a few moments, a private weather monitoring service ‘Pakweather.com’ discussed the situation of Bahria Town in a tweet and hailed the infrastructure and management of the community for their abilities to clear the water.

As people discussed the torrential rain and the havoc it played on the city and Bahria Town’s roadways, ‘Bahria Town’ started to trend on Twitter.
