KARACHI: On the occasion of Pakistan’s 75th Independence Day celebrations held at the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), administrator Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab announced that CM Murad Ali Shah had approved the construction of a flyover at the Korangi River.
The project will be completed in one year for a cost of 5.5 billion rupees. The development work for this project will begin on November 1 and it will be completed by November 30, 2023, as per the directives of the CM Sindh.
In addition to this, he stated the Jam Sadiq Bridge repairs will also be finished this year.
The provincial government has granted Rs. 2.5 billion to repair the roads that were harmed by the recent rains.
According to the administrator, the Sindh government has authorized several plans for the infrastructure upgradation, including a 14,000 ft. road in Korangi that would be constructed for KATI.
He also stated that “we want to send a positive message today.”
In the aftermath of the recent rains, the Sindh government, its authorities and personnel did an admirable job of repairing, he added.
