LAHORE: On Monday, Bilal Afzal, the interim provincial minister for excise, taxation, communication, and works, paid a visit to the construction site of the Kalma Chowk Underpass renovation.
The minister visited several project sites with Lahore Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa to gauge the progress being made.
As per the details, the minister remarked in a speech at the event that maximizing public assistance was their foremost goal and that the CM had a clear vision of this.
According to him, the project would alter the Lahore development landscape as he had asked all the departments concerned to work together for the prompt completion of this project.
The minister promised to evaluate the flow of work every 3 days while Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa stated that the Chief Minister of Lahore was highly concerned about the prompt completion of this project to reduce the inconvenience to residents’ daily commutes.
He hoped that it would be finished within the allotted time because of the pace it was developing.
