ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) plans to rehabilitate and expand Park Road from Rawal Chowk to Taramri Chowk.
As per the details, the 7.9-kilometer-long road will cost PKR. 1.95 billion and will be built starting in the third week of October.
The Chairman of the CDA, Captain (R) Usman Younis made this announced on his official Twitter account.
The tweet suggests that the project would take four months to complete and it would significantly improve traffic flow between Rawal Chowk and Taramri Chowk.
Furthermore, he stated that the CDA had completed the 7th Avenue project and it was now open to all types of traffic.
The chairman went on to say that despite heavy rains and the COVID-19 pandemic, the project was completed on time.
It is worth mentioning that CDA has begun several initiatives to improve traffic in the federal capital, including signal-free corridors, flyovers, and underpasses.
