ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced a key appointment, assigning Fiaz Ahmed Wattoo, the current Director of Administration, with the added responsibility of overseeing the role of Director of General Administration.
This strategic decision was communicated through an official notification issued on Monday.
Fiaz Ahmed Wattoo, an officer of grade 19 within the executive cadre, is now tasked with managing the duties associated with the Director General Administration position, in addition to his ongoing responsibilities as Director of Administration.
The decision has received the Chairman’s approval and has been embraced by the organization’s internal officers.
According to sources, this arrangement is expected to remain in place until a regular incumbent is appointed to the position.
Notably, a significant portion of positions within the CDA are currently occupied by deputation officers, and this move is seen as a positive step towards effective administration and management within the organization.
It is relevant to note that Wattoo previously held positions within various directorates including land, law, and human resources.
