CDA Holds Historic Personal Hearings for Owners of Cancelled Properties

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) recently held personal hearings for the owners of canceled properties, marking a historic first for the organization.

Over 100 individuals affected by the cancellations were given the opportunity to present their concerns to CDA Chairman, Captain Noor ul Amin Mengal, with the legal wing of the CDA present to assist him.

During the hearing, the Chairman expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of progress in resolving issues surrounding allotments in Park Enclave Phase III.

As a result, Chairman Mengal issued instructions to the Estate Wing, stating that the issue of allotments for Park Enclave Phase III should be resolved within a month, in compliance with rules and regulations.

He emphasized the importance of resolving the issue according to established laws and promoting economic activities in the region, urging the CDA to act as a facilitator.

Chairman Mengal also called for a change in behavior from officers who obstruct legitimate work and requested that building plans for commercial buildings be approved within one month.

He stated that the process for approving maps would be supervised by his office.

Additionally, Chairman Mengal announced that commercial plots in Sector I-14, I-15, and I-16 would be offered in the upcoming auction to be held next month, further promoting economic activity in the area.

He also promised that the owners of canceled properties would be heard during the first week of every month.

  1. Plz do somthing for the members of Senate avenue. Adm of Senate avenue increased the cost of land from 9 lacs to above 23 lacs which is baseless move. Is there anybody to stop them from doing this? Its a CDA approved society.
