ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) organized an open forum near the Abpara Community Center in Sector G-6, Islamabad on the directives of the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
This open forum was held to hear the complaints and concerns of citizens regarding various issues such as sanitation, sewage system, water supply, road infrastructure, and the environment in the city.
CDA officials, including the Member Environment, DG Civic Management, and DG Water Supply, were present at the forum to answer questions and address complaints from citizens.
A large number of residents attended the forum and the CDA administration assured them that their complaints would be attended to within 24 hours.
Furthermore, the CDA Member Environment announced that Deputy Directors of the relevant departments would visit their respective areas on a weekly basis, and Directors would visit their areas on a monthly basis, in order to provide better facilities for the citizens at their doorsteps.
Residents expressed their gratitude towards the CDA administration for their efforts and commitment to addressing their problems.
Another open forum is planned in the near future to continue addressing citizens’ concerns.
Furthermore, the CDA Member Environment emphasized that this open forum was an important step towards providing better services to the citizens.
