ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has resumed the development work in Sector C-15 on a “priority basis” after a halt of seven years.
The civic body had started work to develop the sector last year, which was halted within a few days. However, the CDA management now aims to develop the sector on a priority basis.
According to CDA Chairman Noorul Amin Mengal, the development work has resumed after seven years, and every effort will be employed to develop the sector and grant land to allottees at the earliest.
The CDA acquired the sector in 2008 based on a land-sharing formula, and the locals were given developed plots of 1 Kanal against a 4 Kanal plot.
The CDA allotted plots against the land, but allotment letters were not issued.
At least 504 persons were declared eligible for the built-up property (BuP) award announced in 2016. Of them, 167 were placed on the A-list after they provided the requisite information while 337 people were placed on the B-list.
However, a small portion of land, Dhoke Ashraf, in this sector is still not acquired.
Sources said that before the CDA could announce the BuP award for this locality, there was a need to use satellite imagery to discourage bogus entries in light of the CDA’s dubious history concerning the BuP awards.
It’s good to resume the development work in sector C-15 , but the sectors D-13,E-13 and F-13 are still waiting the attention of CDA,all these sectors also were acquired in the same year I. e 2008.
It is a good move. Chairman CDA is developing capital territory with full swings but it is the legitimate right of the allottees of other sectors to have their devloped land in sectors C16, D13 and E12. These sectors have already been awarded and allotted to their owners a long long years before. So Chairman CDA is humbly requested to see into these above mentioned mentiond sectors as well. It will be very kind of you.

Development work by CDA highly appreciated. However Development n Sector E12 also needed to b started which s pending since last 27 years.
Do something about G 12 sector which is full by gangs and decoits .open your eyes mengal Saab is there no commission in that area.
What about G-15 sector take-over, which is waiting for last 10 yes, Sir.
The developmental work in capital city being carried out by Chairman CDA is appreciable
Sir ,we allottes of sector E 12 are very desperate and waiting since very long time.
Sir it will be your great contribution to develop all sub sectors of E12 and handover for possession on urgent basis.

I am illegible.
It’s a good news but it’s suggested to have a look on E 11/4 as well , roads are in bad condition especially streets like 20, 21, 22 and few others which badly need repairs or carpeting.
