CDA Seals Azam Swati’s Farmhouse for Violating Building Bylaws

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has sealed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Leader Azam Swati’s farmhouse for violating building bylaws.

According to the CDA, the basement of the farmhouse was built illegally without approval from the authority.

The authority took this decision after issuing several notices, and the last notice was served on the 16th of November, warning Swati to remove the illegal construction within 7 days.

Additionally, the Authority served notices to more than 70 farmhouse owners, including Azam Swati’s property.

It is important to note that the Authority has sealed 4 farmhouses in the capital that have failed to comply with the CDA regulations.

Furthermore, the authorities in the twin cities have been active for some months now and have been taking strict actions against encroachments, demolishing illegal structures in several different areas.
