CDA to Construct Sports Enclave and Restore Ancient Trails in Shah Allah Ditta

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced its decision to build a multi-purpose sports complex in Shah Allah Ditta.

The proposed Sports Enclave will feature various sports facilities, including volleyball, rock climbing, zipline, and cricket.

According to the Chairman of CDA, the project aims to promote sports and recreational activities among the residents of Islamabad and provide them with world-class facilities.

The Sports Enclave will be constructed on 300 Kanal of CDA’s land, which has been allocated for environmental and health activities.

It is important to note that the complex will be developed on the pattern of a multi-purpose stadium to cater to various sports activities.

In addition to the sports complex, the CDA has also decided to restore the ancient route of Alexander the Great, which connects Shah Allah Ditta to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa up to the limits of Islamabad.

The restoration of this historic trail will not only promote tourism but also preserve the cultural heritage of the area.

Furthermore, the CDA has also planned to restore Trail 8 and build a new trail from the Eight Buddha Caves to the Buddha Stupa.

The restoration of these trails will provide an opportunity for nature lovers and hikers to explore the scenic beauty of the Margalla Hills.
