ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced plans to solarize its buildings and offices as part of its energy conservation efforts.
The decision was made during a meeting chaired by the CDA Chairman, Captain (r) Muhammad Usman Younis.
It was also decided that all streetlights on roads constructed under government-to-government agreements would be converted to solar energy as a pilot project.
Additionally, the solarization project will be implemented in Sector F-9 and expanded to other parks and recreational facilities.
The solarization of CDA buildings and facilities will not only help save on the budget but will also contribute to energy conservation efforts.
