Chairman CDA Finds Substandard Food Quality in Parliament House Cafeteria

ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Captain (r) Noorul Amin Mengal, has expressed concern over the quality of food being served to parliamentarians and visitors at the Parliament House cafeteria.

During a visit to the cafeteria, Mengal was dissatisfied with the substandard food quality and lack of cleanliness arrangements.

Mengal, who previously served as the director general of the Punjab Food Authority, has been known for his strict enforcement of food quality standards at all eating places, including five-star hotels and local restaurants.

After his visit to the Parliament House cafeteria, he commented that the food quality and cleanliness in the cafeteria were not up to par.

An official accompanying Mengal stated that the cafeteria management was issued a warning to improve the quality of food and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and eating area.
