ISLAMABAD: In an exciting development, Noor ul Amin Mengal, the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), recently shared an update on the Shah Allah Ditta Interchange development progress at Margalla Avenue.
The Chairman took to social media to share a video showcasing the ongoing work carried out by heavy machinery.

The Shah Allah Ditta Interchange holds immense significance as it serves as a gateway to several notable destinations, including the Shah Allah Ditta Mazar, Buddha Caves, and the famous Alexander Route leading to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), specifically Khanpur Dam and Haripur.
This interchange aims to enhance connectivity and promotes religious tourism in the region.
This project is part of the CDA’s comprehensive plan to invest approximately 600 million rupees into developing connectivity and fostering religious tourism.
Once completed, the Shah Allah Ditta Interchange is expected to significantly improve transportation access to the aforementioned destinations.
It will facilitate tourists and travelers seeking to explore the area’s historical and religious sites while providing a smoother route for local commuters.
One of the best task to do in this area for the stakeholders, I mean the local people and the tourists.
I will further suggest that the whole area i.e. D-13, E-12 & E-13 should also be included in this developmental plan which will not only beautify the whole area but it will also be managed well from security point of view. I hope the authorities concerned will also be agreed.
