Chief Minister Launches Multi-Level Flyover, Road Projects in Lahore

LAHORE: The Chief Minister Punjab, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, officially launched several infrastructure projects in Lahore, including the Shahdara multi-level flyover, Saggian Road, and Sharaqpur Road projects.

The administration emphasized that these projects were aimed at improving the lives of the general public and highlighted many other notable initiatives being undertaken in the province.

During this administration, Lahore also began receiving free solar pumps, and plans were announced to run a Blue Line subway train from Data Sahib to the Lahore airport.

The CM highlighted the practical benefits of the Saggian and Sharaqpur Road projects, as well as the multi-level overpass at Shahdara, and announced that the government had launched development projects worth 20 billion rupees in Lahore.

The cost of the Saggian and Sharaqpur road projects was 4.51 billion rupees, while the Shahdara multi-level flyover project was estimated to cost 8.90 billion rupees and would take 10 months to construct on a 27 Kanal plot of land.

This initiative was expected to greatly benefit millions of travelers using the Lahore-Islamabad GT Road.
