LAHORE: On Monday, Chief Secretary Abdullah Khan Sumbal presided over a meeting to assess the Punjab Cabinet’s policies, changes in various industries, and development initiatives that had been carried out during the previous 5 months.
As per the details, reports on implementation were filed by the pertinent departments, including education, health, housing, P&D, transportation, finance, local government, C&W, and information.
The chief secretary, expressing satisfaction with the implementation status, stated that the Punjab government was pursuing the goal of uniform development in the territory.
He said that departmental changes were being implemented to enhance governance and service provision.
The chief secretary stated that record development funds were used in a short amount of time during the current fiscal year and that timely use of funds, quality, and transparency are all assured in uplift initiatives.
Besides, the meeting was attended by the additional chief secretary, the secretaries of education, health, housing, P&D, transport, finance, local government, C&W, information, and the relevant officials.
