KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmood Khan, has announced the establishment of nine new economic zones and the revival of 167 failing industrial units over the past four years.
The new economic zones include Jalozai, Nowshehra, D I Khan, Rashakia, Chitral, Hattar, Bannu, Ghazi, and Mohmand.
A total of 338 billion Pakistani rupees have been invested in these economic zones, leading to the development of 366 new industrial units and the revival of 167 struggling ones.
The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of industrial development for the province’s economic stability and job opportunities.
The administration is working to create a welcoming environment for industrialists and attract investment, he said.
