CM KPK Breaks Ground for Several Development Projects in Kohat and Hangu

KOHAT: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmood Khan, has inaugurated several development projects in Kohat and Hangu districts.

According to the details, the development projects are expected to cost PKR 13 billion.

During the Chief Minister’s visit to Kohat, he attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Business Development and Community Center for Women.

The CM also broke ground for improving the sewerage system and set up a new sewerage treatment plant, establishing a 75-kilometer-long sewerage network at Kotal Township (KDA).

It was shared that the project would cost PKR 6.73 billion and fall under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cities Improvement Project (KPCIP).

The CM also laid the foundation for the rehabilitation of Kohat’s water supply system, which will cost PKR 4.65 billion.

Similarly, the CM inaugurated a civil hospital in Doaba City in Hangu. The hospital was completed with PKR 154.4 million.

The Minister also inaugurated the Hangu District jail and 2 Rescue 1122 stations in Thall.

The CM, at a ceremony, said that the government was committed to providing better facilities to the citizens.
