LAHORE: Commissioner Lahore Muhammad Ali Randhawa has taken proactive measures to combat the city’s growing smog problem, with a new plantation drive being launched.
A recent tweet from the Commissioner’s official Twitter account announced that private housing societies would be invited to participate in anti-smog initiatives.

The first phase of the plantation drive will see 250,000 fruit and flowering plants, each measuring 5 to 6 feet in height, being planted across 25 private societies under the Lahore Development Authority’s supervision.
