Concerns Raised Over Delayed Funds Allocation for Tribal Areas,

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister, Muhammad Azam Khan, brought attention to the prolonged suffering faced by the former tribal areas during a ceremony at the CM house.

Speaking to the youth from the merged districts, he emphasized the urgent need for support and assistance in these regions.

Chief Minister Azam Khan expressed his concerns regarding the delayed allocation of funds to the province following the merger of the tribal areas into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He stressed that the tribal districts, with a population of five million, deserve their fair share of funds for development.

The Chief Minister has consistently pursued this matter with the federal government, vowing to do everything possible to uphold the legitimate rights of the merged districts.

Besides, he also highlighted the crucial role of funding in successfully implementing various developmental initiatives.

Furthermore, the caretaker provincial government is committed to utilizing all available resources to address the challenges faced by the backward areas.

To ensure efficient resolution of public issues, the Chief Minister has dedicated one day every week specifically to resolving problems in the merged districts.

Additionally, the doors of the Chief Minister’s House have been opened to the people of these districts, providing them with a platform to voice their concerns.
