GUJRAT: A 45-kilometer road that will connect the Hafizabad and Wazirabad districts is to be built within a few months.
According to the details, the government will be spending an amount of PKR 8.2 billion to complete the project.
.The construction of the road shall start from the University of Hafizabad to Khanki headworks touching the border of Gujrat district, from where another road will be constructed towards the Machiana village.
Furthermore, along with executing the 45-km road project, the authorities have also decided to widen the recently built road along the Lower Chenab Canal bank up to 44 feet.
