Construction Work Begins at LWMC’s New Building

LAHORE: Mian Mehmood ur Rashid, Provincial Minister of Punjab for housing, urban development, and public health engineering, inaugurated the construction of a new building for Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC).

The inauguration event was held at the LWMC’s Children’s Hospital workshop and was attended by LWMC Chairman Atif Chaudhry and CEO Ali Anan Qamar.

During his speech, the minister emphasized that the corporation was the largest institution in the province regarding the workforce.

He remarked that the new structure would be built with the next 30 years in mind.

According to the LWMC CEO, the new facility should have been built ten years ago. He instructed the corporation to run zero-waste operations in all Christian colonies.

Furthermore, all churches and Christmas markets are being scrubbed and sanitized upon the orders of the CEO.
