DC Multan Forms Task Force to Inspect Commercial Buildings in District

MULTAN: To regulate commercial buildings in the district caused by plazas and infrastructure, Deputy Commissioner Omar Jahangir has established a task force consisting of various officials.

The task force will be responsible for inspecting commercial buildings, verifying their map plans, assessing the condition on the ground, and identifying dilapidated structures and billboards.

During a planning and design committee meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for developers to align their projects with the master plan to proceed with commercial or housing construction.

The meeting also discussed applications for the approval of new commercial buildings and petrol pumps in the district.

To ensure compliance, the Deputy Commissioner stated that investors must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from all relevant departments for their commercial projects.

He also warned that any unnecessary delays in issuing NOCs will result in disciplinary action against the responsible departments.
