BANNU: A grim incident unfolded in the Piran Tughal Khel area of Bannu on Saturday, as a man fatally shot his two nephews and their mother amid a property dispute.
The event occurred when a heated property disagreement escalated between the two parties, resulting in a devastating loss of lives.
According to sources, the accused, embroiled in the dispute, resorted to opening fire at his relatives, claiming the lives of his two nephews as well as their mother.
The shooting incident inflicted injuries on two other women and a man who was also present at the scene.
Furthermore, prompt action was taken to transport the injured and the deceased to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention.
Following the alarming event, law enforcement swiftly responded, dispatching police teams to the location but the suspected assailant had already managed to escape the scene.
A case has been registered regarding the incident, and the police have initiated an investigation into the matter to uncover the details of the tragic episode.
