RAWALPINDI: Three security guards have been shot dead in a private housing society named Rabia Residencia near Rajhar in Chauntra Rawalpindi.
According to the sources, 5 guards were present at the society when the gunmen attacked them.
The reason behind the incident was allegedly to halt the construction work, and upon the contractor’s refusal, they opened fire. As a result, 3 guards were killed while two were injured.
Additionally, a police spokesperson shared that the bodies were sent for the postmortem, and the investigation was underway upon the instructions of the CPO.
It was also shared that the Chief Minister of Punjab, Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi, has taken notice of the incident and ordered RPO to submit an investigation report.
