Deputy Speaker KPK Assembly Booked in a Deadly Property Dispute

PESHAWAR: The Deputy Speaker of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Mahmood Jan, along with two of his associates, has been embroiled in a contentious property dispute that has escalated to include charges of murder and attempted murder.

According to the details, the dispute centers around a piece of land in the suburban area of Sufaid Sang, which is being claimed by both Jan and Isa Khel Qum.

The situation took a violent turn on Sunday when Jan and his colleagues began excavation work on the disputed property.

This action was met with fierce opposition from the rival group, who contested the digging.

In the ensuing chaos, members from Jan’s side resorted to opening fire, leading to the tragic injury of a man named Muhammad Ali. While he was being rushed to the Lady Reading Hospital for treatment, Ali tragically passed away on the way.

The incident has sparked outrage and concern, with many calling for justice to be served and for a peaceful resolution to be found for the ongoing dispute.
