FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) is gearing up for the upcoming financial year with a focus on expanding urban development and strengthening its financial position.
In a pre-budget meeting, the FDA Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhary reviewed the budget proposals and emphasized the need for a far-sighted approach.
The Director General examined the budget estimates from the previous financial year and directed the formulation of multidimensional development and administrative proposals.
Moreover, he also stressed the importance of realistic targets for recoveries, ensuring that the next financial year’s budget is comprehensive and sustainable.
To generate additional income resources, the DG suggested adopting a concrete plan to sell available plots in FDA City and other residential and commercial areas.
The DG also emphasized the need to develop a feasible business model to utilize FDA’s land assets.
Besides, mobilizing the field staff to achieve recovery targets and taking action against defaulting allottees were also key points discussed during the meeting.
The budget proposals discussed in the meeting encompassed a wide range of areas related to the FDA’s operations and initiatives.
