LAHORE: The Director General of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) paid a visit to the One Window Cell on Wednesday.
Upon the visit, he inquired about the issues being faced by the residents and issued immediate directives for redressal.
The DG stated that all issues raised by citizens who visit the LDA should be addressed on an emergency basis.
He strictly ordered that under no circumstances should any legitimate work of citizens coming to LDA be delayed, adding that, senior citizens and women should be given priority and facilities at one window cell.
“I will take firm action against the officers who were negligent in solving problems of the masses in a timely manner and that the reputation of LDA must be upheld,” he added.
Furthermore, he also urged that the timeline for one-window operations should be improved and that all directors should listen to the grievances directly at least once a week.
LDA officers and employees should refrain from objecting to the requests of the public and citizens who visit the cell.
The citizens present at the one-window cell interacted with the DG LDA and appreciated the efforts.
