LAHORE: Commissioner and DG Muhammad Ali Randhawa called a meeting on Monday to review the progress of various departments and ongoing development projects.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Director of General Headquarters and Additional Director of General Housing, who gave briefings on their respective wings.
LDA DG reviewed the working of various sectors in detail while Chief Engineer Israr Saeed briefed on the progress of ongoing development projects in the city, including the Lahore Bridge Extension Project, Samanabad Underpass, and Shahdara Flyover.
During the meeting, the commissioner issued instructions to complete ongoing development projects according to the timeline and monitor the targets accordingly.
He also warned that no negligence would be tolerated. Furthermore, he directed Chief Town Planner LDA to submit a report on the operations done on nine model roads of the city.
The meeting emphasized the need for officials to improve their performance and achieve targets on time. The commissioner also received updates on proposed projects in the provincial capital.
