District Council Conducts Anti-Encroachment Drive in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: The district council in Faisalabad conducted a crackdown on Tuesday to remove all kinds of concrete and temporary encroachments from Makuana Chowk and Jarranwala Road.

The team confiscated items that had been placed on footpaths in front of shops, and warned shop owners against setting up stalls in the future.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of municipal officers of the district council and was conducted on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Ali Anan Qamar.

The crackdown was aimed at ensuring that no one encroaches on footpaths or roads by setting up stalls or other structures.

The DC reiterated that such encroachments would not be tolerated, and urged citizens to cooperate with the authorities in keeping the city’s streets and footpaths clear of obstructions.

Furthermore, the district council’s anti-encroachment team is expected to continue its efforts to keep the city’s roads and footpaths free from illegal encroachments.
