RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Excise and Taxation (E&T) has offered a 5% rebate on property tax that is paid before September 30.
According to the taxation officer of Property Zone-2 Rawalpindi, the citizens who pay their outstanding property taxes before the deadline would be eligible for the concession.
All property taxpayers have been informed that the Government of Punjab is offering a 5% rebate on payments made before September 30, with an additional 5% discount available for payments made through EPay, he added.
He urged citizens to pay their property taxes on time in order to receive the rebate while cautioning that the property tax defaulters who did not pay their taxes despite multiple notices would face legal action.
Furthermore, he also clarified that the authorities in charge had directed the field staff to expedite the recovery process and submit a progress report.
