PUNJAB: The Department of Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Punjab has announced an up to 15% refund offer on tax payments made via E-pay until September 30.
The director of E&T, Abdullah Khan, decided to provide taxpayers with relief by offering a 10 percent rebate offer over the payment of property tax, and a 15 percent rebate offer over the payment of token tax through E-pay, said the spokesperson.
He urged taxpayers to take advantage of the Punjab government’s unique offer to the fullest while adding that the taxes would be fully recovered when the rebate offer expires.
Deputy Director Admin and Property tax wing stated that the excise teams were busy distributing 200,000 property challans since the DG Excise Punjab had instructed to issue tax challans to taxpayers by the end of the current month.
In order to avoid any hassle, the taxpayers must take advantage of the refund offer and file their taxes on time, he added.
