Evacuee Trust Property Board Seals 11 Shops in Lahore

LAHORE: The Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) has sealed 11 commercial buildings and properties worth billions of rupees in Lahore on the Supreme Court’s directives.

The district Lahore team of the Board, along with the FIA, police, and administration, raided and took action against encroachments on the orders of the ETPB Chairman Habibur Rahman.

As per the information, the properties were located in notable business areas, including Sheesha Moti Bazaar, Wichuwali, Hingana Street, Sutar Mandi, Ravi Road, Mohini Road, and Bradlaugh Hall.

Furthermore, the team sealed several properties that were in unlawful possession and also removed encroachments.

The operation was conducted under the direction of Administrator Lahore Akram Joya, led by Deputy Administrator Taskinullah.

Additionally, Director FIA Mohammad Zawar, SHOs Raza Awan, Benish Rehman, Rana Naeem, and Kashif were also present during the operation.

Previously, the Lahore Metropolitan Corporation, following a complaint from commissioner Lahore, also retrieved a piece of Orange Line land worth millions of rupees from land grabbers.
